Paul Davoust
Mr. Davoust has two decades of high-tech industry experience. His expertise includes business development, product management, marketing and sales. His background includes software and hardware, in both the computing and communications markets. His successful executive and consulting experience ranges from the pre-funded start-up to the Fortune 500 Corporation.
An eight-year veteran of Hewlett-Packard, Mr. Davoust sold computer systems to major accounts, was responsible for the company’s largest software project, served with distinction in strategic planning and founded HP's marketing information center.
As vice president and general manager of Radish Communications Systems, Mr. Davoust turned around a failed start-up. Strategic partnerships with PC manufacturers shipped over 17,000,000 systems with bundled Radish software. His successful strategy led to the company’s sale for $42 million.
Earlier, Mr. Davoust headed product management for Borland's spreadsheet division. There he delivered award-winning products that increased the company’s worldwide market share from less than 3% to over 20%. He later served as director of business development and acquisitions for Borland's Applications Business Unit where his line extension strategy delivered the company's highest contribution margins. Mr. Davoust was also instrumental in securing the dominant market position for Paradox, an award-winning PC database, overtaking the former industry leader, dBase, in market share and revenues in North America.
